In celebration of Veterans Day, we asked our team members and healthcare partners to reflect on what Veterans Day means to them.
Some of these individuals served themselves, some have family members that serve, and some treat patients that served. No matter their personal stories, all of them believe it is an important day to thank and celebrate those who sacrificed their lives to serve our country.
“Veterans hold a special place in my heart. The sacrifices that they make, and the insurmountable odds faced cannot be overstated. For those that raise their hands in defense of their country offer a glimpse into real honor, courage, and relentlessness.”
“Veterans Day is a day to celebrate and honor those individuals and their families that have admirably served our country. A time to remember and acknowledge their sacrifices. A time recognize how those sacrifices have afforded the freedoms we actively exercise in our amazing country we call America! Duty, Honor, Country! Honored serve, Hooah!”

“Veterans Day is a special day for me to remember the men and women that I served alongside who also chose to dedicate part or all of their professional careers to protect our freedom and this great country. We live in the greatest country on earth, and we should not take our freedoms for granted. Unfortunately, we see the continued challenge to basic human rights in many places around the world today. I am grateful for my time in the US Navy and feel honored to have worked with the men and women who served with me, those who serve today, and those who will serve in the future.”

“Veterans Day for me, is a day to think about the sacrifices that our military personnel made and continue to make to keep this nation free and the best place on earth. It is so sad to remember those who lost their lives but it is my hope, that on this day, they somehow feel the appreciation we have for their service and sacrifice. ”
