Michelle McDonald has over 20 years of experience in the medical device industry, focused on global downstream and upstream marketing, market development, marketing communications, medical education, and strategy.
In addition to her work at SPR Therapeutics, she has successfully launched over 20 major products and campaigns in the cardiovascular rhythm management (heart failure device systems with implantable pulse generators and left-ventricular heart leads) and peripheral and coronary vascular disease markets for both large and small to mid-sized organizations including Guidant Corporation/Boston Scientific, St. Jude Medical, Medtronic, ev3/Covidien, and Cardiovascular Systems, Inc. This work led to the achievement of market leading share positions in multiple product categories and multiple countries, and the development of new products to enhance and extend the lives of patients living with cardiovascular disease.
Michelle has a B.S. in both Biomedical Engineering and Environmental Engineering from Mercer University, a M.S. in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Connecticut, and an MBA from Dartmouth College (The Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth).
