The first product to be commercialized is the minimally invasive, SMARTPATCH® Peripheral Nerve Stimulation (PNS) System intended to be used for up to 30 days for pain relief.  We also are developing a 2-stage PNS system, which utilizes the Smartpatch System for trialing the therapy in its first stage, and a fully implantable, MICROPULSE® long-term, implant system in its second stage.

The Smartpatch PNS System consists of a skin-mounted external stimulator, percutaneous lead, and Smartpatch pads, small adhesive pads that contain the power source for the System. The Smartpatch pad is replaced regularly based on treatment parameters, allowing the clinician to prescribe the total dosage based upon the number 
of Smartpatch pads provided to the patient.
